What is the Florida Early Steps Program?

Florida Early Steps is the state's early intervention program for infants and toddlers, aged birth to 3, who have developmental delays or disabilities. Administered by the Florida Department of Health and local Early Steps providers, the program offers a variety of services to support families and help children reach their full potential. How do I apply for the Florida Early Steps Program?

You can apply for the Florida Early Steps program through the following methods:

  • Online Referral: Submit an online referral through the Early Steps website: Early Steps Referral Portal

  • Phone Referral: You can call the Early Steps office in your region to make a referral. Find the contact information for your local office through the Early Steps Regional Contact Directory.

How long does it take to receive services from Florida Early Steps?
