How long does it take to receive funds from CCAP?

Once a complete application is submitted, processing typically takes up to 30 days. You’ll receive a notice by mail regarding your eligibility determination and any benefits you’ve been approved for.


What do the application steps look like?

  1. Determine your eligibility using Mirza Scout.

  2. Complete an Application: Apply online, by mail, or by fax.

  3. Submit Required Documentation: Provide income, employment, training, or education verification.

  4. Await Application Review: DHS will review your information and documentation.

  5. Receive Approval Notification: A letter will be sent with your eligibility status and co-pay amount.

  6. Enroll with a CCAP-Approved Provider: Find a licensed child care provider who participates in CCAP.

  7. Start Receiving Assistance: Payments are made directly to your child care provider.
