What is Rx Kids?
Rx Kids is a first-of-its-kind cash allowance program for pregnant moms and babies living in Flint, Michigan. If you're pregnant and live in Flint, you can receive $1,500 during pregnancy and $500/month during your baby’s first year — no strings attached. The goal is to help families cover the essentials, reduce stress, and support healthy development during these critical early months. There are no work requirements, and immigration status does not affect eligibility.
How do I apply for Rx Kids?
You can apply quickly and easily online at RxKids.org. The application takes about 10 minutes. You’ll need to upload a photo ID and a document showing proof of Flint residency.
If you're pregnant, apply any time during your pregnancy. If your baby has already been born, you can apply any time during the first year of life.

How long does it take to receive funds from Rx Kids?
